Japan stands at the forefront of population aging and declining birthrates. In response, the long-term care sector is witnessing rapid progress in the utilization of technology and research and development to address growing care needs.
This symposium will feature an overview of Japan’s policy trends related to long-term care technology presented by relevant government ministries, as well as insights from private-sector companies on their research and development initiatives and practical efforts aimed at global expansion.
This symposium is held as part of the “The Project for building evidence for social implementation of long-term care technology” funded by the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED). The project is commissioned to BIBrid Co., Ltd., and the event is operated by NTT Data Institute of Management Consulting, Inc.
