Sustainable Food and Agriculture

Service Overview

Agriculture, forestry, and other land use sectors are said to account for one-quarter of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In 2021, Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) formulated the Green Food System Strategy, supporting technology development, demonstration, and dissemination to reduce environmental impact across agriculture production, distribution, processing, and consumption. Our firm collaborates with MAFF, the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO), and other businesses to advance various initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and ensuring food security in agriculture.

  • Policy trends and startup support status surveys in the above regions
